Manifesta – the biannual contemporary art event – is always on the road and has now pulled into Italy. The happening’s strong point has to be its nomadic characteristic. Over the years it has moved around all over Europe to different places as it brings art to the people.
So this year it’s Italy’s turn with Manifesta on show in the following cities: Bressanone, Bolzano, Trento and Rovereto. Almost two hundred artists are involved in a number of high impact projects such as “Fortress” with special environments inhabited by voices.
