The latest of London street-artist Banksy’s many ventures, this time in the Big Apple. His new frontier is The Village Pet-Shop, an arts project that plumbs the depths of man’s relationship with animals. “People from New York seem more interested in their pets than they are in art!” This assertion lies behind the inspiration for Bansky’s store-window-cum-zoo that opened this week in New York. “This is essentially street art as it can be admired from the street 24/7.”
