5 am Awoken by the noise of the trash truck … I’m in NY and jet-lagged.

6 am Room service brings me a cup of English breakfast tea
e-mails, e-mails and more e-mails… thank God there’s wi-fi here and I can reply to them lying in bed.

9 am Meeting with Emmanuelle our casting director who came over with me from Paris. We have some more breakfast together…

10 am Outside for a walk to grab some air.

10:30 am Meeting with Stefan Ruiz (the campaign photographer), William (the producer) and Alastair (the stylist) to discuss details of organization.

11 am Casting starts … About 10 kids have come along from MySpace. Some are really nice and will definitely pass through to the next selection round.

1 pm Lunch break. I eat with con Mary our Xmanager from the NY store who’s giving us a hand.

2 pm E-mails

3 pm Casting begins again

5:30 pm Tea with Cameron at the Mercer

6:30 pm Back again in my room to field the latest e-mails

8 pm Manu arrives and we sit in the lobby waiting for Patrick to go out for dinner

8:30 pm He finally arrives and we go to the ‘Little Owl’ in West Village….

11:30 pm To bed
