Fallen by Tony Burrows. The lightness of the body in harmony with nature.

08 07

A throwback to The Unbearable Lightness of Being for the Fallen series by Tony Burrows. Nude bodies twirl and spin light and somnolent – as though they were on an ocean floor – in perfect harmony with nature to express and portray an essential and at times, bucolic world.
After working alongside professionals with highly personal and sophisticated styles such as David Bailey, Richard Avedon, Albert Watson and Nadav Kander, after having documented many remote places in Australia for National Geographic and Australian Tourism, and photographing so many lives in their natural and amazing habitats, Australian photographer Tony Burrows has developed a striking sensitiveness for singular and involving atmospheres. Hamburg and Berlin’s camouflaged graffiti

( plug generation)

06 07

Evermore refined and evolved street art creations that appear for an instant to then vanish as soon as you change your viewing position.
That’s what’s happening now in Hamburg and Berlin where these painted faces were photographed on the single poles that make up the gratings of gardens and courtyards. The image can only be seen from a certain angle with another face painted on the other side.

Making of C’N’C CoSTUME NATIONAL_Campaign FW10-11: VIDEO

( be costume)

05 07

The natural setting of London’s Richmond Park is the ideal backdrop for the latest C’N’C CoSTUME NATIONAL campaign. This perfect mix of the bucolic and the urban is where Lizzy Jagger (daughter of legendary rocker Mick and that icon of style Jerry Hall) and Jethro Cave (son of the eclectic Nick with his rebel spirit and dark personality) will move and pose as they interpret the urban and wild style of the brand under the masterful direction of photographer Dan Martensen.

C’N’C CoSTUME NATIONAL_campagna pubblicitaria AI10-11: URBAN NATURE

( be costume)

“A synthesis of nature and street culture, the merge of organic and inorganic, concrete and green, urban and wild. And a statement: nature takes over.” Ennio Capasa

For the FW2010/2011 advertising campaign Ennio Capasa chooses two strong personalities to interpret the urban soul of C’N’C CoSTUME NATIONAL making them interact with nature.
Nature, loved and respected by a generation that at the same time wouldn’t leave the frenzy of the city, is the main focus of the campaign starring alongside Lizzy Jagger and Jethro Cave.
London’s Richmond Park is the location of the shoot, the ideal compromise between the energy of the city and chance to get lost in nature.
